Date : Joint reign with Valerian I, about AD 253 to 255.

Size : 20.7 x 22.7 mm.  Weight : 3.98 grams.

Reference : Sear-10237.

Grade : gVF. Dark spot of cuprite encrustation on the neck, which could be removed if one wanted to.

Obverse : Head of Gallienus right, ;with IMP C P LIC GALLIENVS P F AVG around.

Reverse : Jupiter standing left, holding thunderbolt and sceptre, with IOVI CONSERVA around.

This is one of Gallienus, early issues actually struck in silver (probably fairly base silver, but they look like good silver).
