Denomination : Bronze Wu Shu.

Date :  This is a variation of the most common type of Wu Shu, first cast sometime around 100 BC, with versions right up to the Sui Dynasty about 600 AD.  It is unlikely this style of Wu Shu dates to after the end of the Eastern Han dynasty ca. 220 AD, as the later ones have different sizes and caligraphy styles,  but the practice of cutting down the rims was probably done in the 4th or 5th century AD.

Obverse : 'Wu Shu' (meaning 5 shu) with the rims cut down.
