Size : 17.5 x 19.5 mm.  Weight : 4.75 grams.

Grade : XF with very good medal (an early issue in good silver).

Obverse : Laurel wreath and crescents that represent a portion of the head of Apollo derived from a Philip II gold stater.

Reverse : Very Celtic style horse with a pellet below, and several pellets above (derived form the horse and chariot designs of a Philip II gold stater).

Provenance : ex CNG (ticket included).  ex Isle of whight Hoard found 19th October 2005 near Brighstone (see Coin news February 2006, page 32 for the store).
