This coin has a rather interest bit of graffiti on it.  Many Byzantine gold solidii have a few letters of graffiti scratched into the field somewhere, but it is usually a few Greek or Latin letters.  The letters on this coin (visible on the inset image at the top) appear to be in Arabic script.  I have not yet translated them, but would appreciate hearing from anyone that can do so.

Denomination : Gold Solidus.  Mint : Constantinople, 10th officina.

Date : This coin was issued with Heraclius Constantine and Heraclonas as co-emperors, which places it between AD 638 and 641.

Size : 19.0 x 19.7 mm.  Weight : 4.55 Grams.

Grade :  gXF, with minor graffiti (see the comment above).
